The F2004 was the 50th single-seater Ferrari built to compete at the 2004 F1 season. An evolution of the F2003-GA, all the main parts of the car were revised for maximum performance from the 053 engine and the Bridgestone tires. The 053 engine was created to be as reliable as possible given that the new rules stipulated that it had to last twice as long as its predecessor: an entire race weekend.
The aerodynamic configuration was optimized in the light of the rule changes, making the car even more efficient. The center of gravity of the F2004 was lower than on previous models. Moreover, the chassis was new in its design: construction was improved and it also weighed less. The bodywork, radiators, exhausts and the rear of the single-seater were redesigned as well, further improving airflow.
The car was as successful as the equally dominant F2002, winning 15 out of 18 races, and scoring 12 pole positions including many lap records which still stand to this day.
Michael Schumacher earned his seventh World Championship in the 2004 Belgian GP held on August 29th, 2004 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. He needed two more than his teammate Rubens Barrichello points to secure his championship at the race. In the end, despite Kimi Raikkönen taking his and McLaren’s first race win of the season, Schumacher gained his seventh Championship Title with a second place.

MoveCloseThe Ferrari F2003-GA was the 49th single-seater built by Scuderia Ferrari to compete in the 2003 Formula 1 season. The car was designated “GA” as a sign of respect to Gianni Agnelli, the former Head of Fiat Group.
Michael Schumacher won 5 races in this car and in it finally earned his sixth World Driver’s Championship, braking Juan Manuel Fangio’s record of five. Ferrari also won its 13th Formula One World Constructor’s Champion title that season.
The car was introduced at the 4th Gran Prix of that F1 season, the Spanish Grand Prix. The body work, radiators, exhausts and rear end have been redesigned from its F2002 predecessor to increase aerodynamic performance. The engine and gearbox were also further developed versions of the previous model.
The Japanese GP is traditionally one of the last races of the F1 season. It is famous for title-deciding because over the last 24 Japanese GPs, 12 World Champions were crowned. The 2003 Japanese GP was no exception. Schumacher only had to score a point to win the title. But he found it was not so easy to gain this one point: Schumacher started outside of the top 10 and lost his front wing while trying to pass BAR’s pilot Sato. He ultimately finished 8th and gained his 6th Championship Title.

The F2007 was the fifty-third single-seater Ferrari built
specifically to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship. The project,
known internally as “the 658”, represented Scuderia's
interpretation of the technical regulations which had changed in 2007,
principally concerning safety, due to the introduction of more stringent front
and rear crash tests and the addition of a composite material
structure to provide lateral protection to the sides of the driver. These
modifications led to a significant increase in weight, in the region of just
under ten kilogrammes.
The car was famous for providing Kimi Raikkonen with
his first World Championship title and the team with its first Constructor's
Title since Michael Schumacher helped them win both in 2004.
Schumacher,
who retired at the end of 2006 season after winning the World Championship seven
times, drove a Ferrari F2007 as a test driver and technical advisor during the
20th and the 21st of November at Barcelona.
His input aimed to help the
team develop the systems for the 2008 car.
